Originally from Venezuela, Mayra’s fluency in Spanish and Italian expands our capacity to serve diverse communities. With a history in the optical field, Mayra began her career in her uncle’s optical practice in Venezuela. She pursued a certificate in Optometry from the University Institute of Optometry in Caracas, graduating in 2010. Upon relocating to Ireland over a decade ago, Mayra continued to excel in the optical industry, eventually finding her place with us at Teahan Optometrists after settling in Naas. In her primary role as a dispensing assistant, she offers expert guidance on frame selection, lens options, and ensures precise measurements and fittings for spectacles. Mayra delights in curating our frame collection to ensure we have on-trend styles and brands, to meet the wide array of tastes our customers have. For our little patients, Mayra is extremely reassuring and ensures she makes the frame selection a fun and memorable experience for children.
